This is a 16-day pilgrimage, flying from London Tel Aviv, beginning in Israel and ending in Jordan. After 8 nights in Israel and Palestine, following Jesus, in Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee we cross into Jordan at the Northern crossing, returning from Jordan to London from Amman. The first night in Jordan is in luxury at the Dead Sea. We then travel south to Petra and the Wilderness of Feynan and the majestic splendour of the Wadi Mujib. Finally ending in Madaba and visiting the Baptism site at the River Jordan.
This is a pilgrimage with two possibilities. It can be for 16 days or 9 days.
16 days - the whole is an epic journey following the outline of 3,000 years of Salvation History. From Jesus’ birth, ministry, death and resurrection in modern Israel and Palestine we step back to trace our origins in the journey of the Hebrews in their Exodus from Egypt to the Land of Promise. After a first night at the Dead Sea to relax and orientate ourselves, the journey in Jordan takes us south to Petra for two nights, followed by two nights in the wilderness of biblical Punan. After the silence and peace, we travel north on the Exodus route of the Israelites to Madaba, near Amman.
9 day pilgrims join for either the Israel-Palestine half or the Jordan half. Flying from London in and out of Tel Aviv, or from London in and out of Amman.
