This pilgrimage is for 12 days flying from London Gatwick to Tel Aviv and begins with three days based in the beautiful hills of Palestine above Jericho in biblical Ephraim. From there we visit the the Baptism site of the River Jordan to renew our Baptismal promises, the Dead Sea and the holy sites in the desert before moving to the Holy Mountain west of Jerusalem for four nights. We spend days in Jerusalem following Jesus’ healing and teaching, and his passion and resurrection. We visit Ein Karem (meeting of Elizabeth and Mary) and Emmaus. We then travel north via Mount Tabor (site of the transfiguration) to rest and reflect at the Sea of Galilee where we stay for the final four nights. We visit the holy sites around the shore to reflect on Jesus’ life and teaching, and take a private boat on the Sea. We also visit Nazareth, Cana and Magdala. On the way to the airport on the last day we visit Mount Carmel.
This is a private Diocesan pilgrimage for parishioners, their families and friends.
